2 days of intensive hands-on practical sessions complemented by short lectures covering the breadth and depth of Plastic Surgery.
The practical session will cover:
- Skin closure
- Skin grafting
- Excision of skin lesions/lumps
- Skin flaps
- Non-operative wound management
- Tendon repair
- Hand fracture fixation
- Nerve repair
- Microsurgery (loupes provided)
Target audience:
The course is aimed at Junior Doctors who might be interested in, or curious about, Plastic Surgery but have had little or no experience in the field.
