Event description:
Microsurgery Workshop based in Kenyatta National Hospital and The University of Nairobi, facilitated by external faculty.
The workshop consists in 2 days of live surgery demonstrations, in which visiting faculty perform microsurgical reconstructions assisted by senior local trainees, while the rest of the attendants follow from an auditorium in Kenyatta National Hospital where microsurgery simulation stations will be set up. This is followed by 2 days in the Nairobi Surgical Skills Centre, with two days of lectures and case discussion on microsurgical reconstruction.
Target audience:
Plastic Surgery Trainees based in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. They will be able to attend in person or virtually.
Registration fees:
100 USD for local plastic surgery trainees and 200 USD for local certified plastic surgeons
