Mr Nicholas Wilson Jones trained in Wales, London and Vancouver prior to being appointed as consultant paediatric plastic and reconstructive surgeon at the Welsh Centre for Burns and Plastic Surgery in Swansea in 2008. He is presently lead clinician for paediatric plastic surgery in Wales, consulting in Swansea, Cardiff, Newport and Carmarthen.

He has an interest in many areas within paediatric plastic surgery including hypospadias, vascular anomalies and spina bifida. Nick regularly lectures nationally and internationally and has published widely on many areas within his field. He is the out-going Hypospadias SIAG chair.

Nick has a keen interest in medical education locally as the Welsh Plastic Surgery Speciality Training Committee chair and as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Swansea University Medical School but also nationally as Vice Chair of the Speciality Advisory Committee and lead for national selection, also enjoying being an examiner for the Intercollegiate Specialty Examination in Plastic Surgery.
