The BAPRAS Congress 2023 marked our largest annual conference yet, and the event this year is shaping up to surpass previous ones!
Taking place on 4 - 6 December 2024 at ICC Wales, we are delighted to be collaborating with plastic surgery associations and societies from across the world to bring you a programme filled with insightful talks delivered by international experts.
New additions to the programme include a Military Plastic Surgery session and a session focused on JPRAS.

Deanery Challenge
Following our inaugural Deanery Challenge event, which took place in Newcastle last year, teams of trainees will be invited to return to battle it out on stage at the close of the first day of the congress for a fun plastic surgery knowledge related quiz.
Join us to see if Mersey Deanery will retain their crown!
Thursday 5 December
Association Dinner
Join us on Thursday evening at the Celtic Manor resort for our annual congress dinner- dinner, drinks, dancing and an opportunity to catch up with colleagues from around the country.
Tickets for this event are limited, and are likely to sell out fast!
The price is £70 per ticket (including 3 course meal, half bottle of wine, reception drinks (non-alcoholic alternatives available), after-dinner entertainment.

Taking place at the University of Bristol, this year’s cadaveric day will focus on lower limb surgery.

Aimed at trainees of all grades from medical students upwards, PLASTA’s popular annual congress is taking place the day before BAPRAS congress commences.

Women in Plastic Surgery - UK Breakfast Symposium - ICC Wales
Join us for the inaugural Women in Plastic Surgery UK (WPS-UK) breakfast symposium.
An opportunity for female plastic surgeons to network, engage and motivate each other at BAPRAS this year. Enjoy breakfast with colleagues and participate in our symposium focusing on motivations for leadership!

Nurses Education Day - ICC Wales
Plastic surgery nurse colleagues are encouraged to join us for any day of congress, but in particular for our popular nurses education day. Hear presentations from nurse colleagues around the country and stay up to date with the latest issues in plastic surgery nursing.
Registration is free for BAPRAS nurse members, and £50 for non-members.

The ICC is a 15 minute taxi ride from Newport station.
