March 2012
Regarding, the new PIP implant data released by the Government, BAPRAS President, Richard Milner, said:
“Following the news that the number of women who have been caught up in the PIP saga is greater than first thought, our advice remains the same – any woman with a PIP implant should seek consultation with their implanting clinic or GP. In the long term, we are continuing to work with other professional bodies to help ensure this situation does not happen again and continue to recommend the establishment of a national, compulsory register for all episodes of breast implantation.”
