The post of editor of this international journal is a prestigious one. It would normally be suitable for someone with an MD/PhD or equivalent in a life science and would usually be a practicing surgeon with considerable experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery and a background in research.

We would expect the following skills:
•  A proven ability to research and synthesise data
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•  A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues throughout the
organisation
•  Flexibility with excellent organisational capabilities
•  A vision for the further development of the Journal
