Bruce Bailey Fellowship 2026 - Now open for applications

Applications are now open for the Bruce Bailey Fellowship 2026, a unique funded opportunity for UK plastic surgery trainees to gain immersive clinical and academic experience at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, India. Organised and delivered by the Plastic Surgery Department at Ganga Hospital, this fellowship offers an exceptional insight into a high-volume unit with particular strength in microsurgery and trauma reconstruction.

The fellowship provides 4 to 6 weeks of exposure to the full range of clinical and academic activities within the department, enabling the successful fellow to develop skills, broaden experience, and learn from a team recognised internationally for reconstructive practice and training.

Eligibility
The Fellowship is available to any UK trainee in a numbered post Trainees with a keen interest in Microsurgery or Trauma reconstructive surgery are encouraged to apply.
