BAPRAS Winter Meeting- Travel information

Please note, there is a strike affecting air traffic control and public transport in France running from late on Wednesday 4 December through to Saturday 7 December.

We are pleased to inform you that the meeting is still running. If delegates are using alternative airports outside of France to return home, please visit the registration desk where we are compiling lists of travel plans, in order for people to share taxis and so on.

We are unsure what effect the strike will have on flights coming into and out of Nice airport, but at present, British Airways are willing to switch passengers into flights outside of the strike time, and Easyjet have told passengers to be prepared for short-notice delays and cancellations.

At present, it seems that a good service is running into and out of Nice airport, but we will update these pages when more information is available
