Beware of 'avocado hand'

BAPRAS Honorary Secretary, Simon Eccles, spoke to the Times Newspaper about the number of people that he sees each week who have injured themselves removing the stones from avocados.

The story was widely commented on by a number of media outlets.

While BAPRAS hasn't specifically called for safety labels on avocados, we are naturally concerned about the increasing number of avocado-related injuries recorded, and would like to remind people to take a common sense approach to avoid injuries.
