Ms Aenone Harper-Machin

Mrs Harper-Machin is a Fellowship-trained plastic surgeon and Honorary Senior Lecturerspecialising in the surgical treatment of head and neck skin cancers, microsurgical reconstruction of the head and neck and facial reanimation for facial nerve paralysis, working in one of the busiest specialist plastic surgery departments in Europe. Based at Whiston Hospital she is also the Chair of the regional Skin Cancer Specialist MDT for the Cheshire & Merseyside region (which also covers north Wales and the Isle of Man).

She graduated with an Honours Degree from the University of Liverpool and undertook her post-graduate training at centres including Bristol, Yorkshire, south Wales, Manchester & Merseyside. She completed a specialty fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at the University of Toronto, Canada - primarily based at the world-renowned Princess Margaret Cancer Center.
